Courtney P., a high school junior, always received good grades in school - except in math. At the end of the 2007/2008 school year, Courtney was told that she would not graduate with her friends if she did not attend summer school for math assistance.
The Sylvan Learning located in Heath, OH, was Courtney's school over the past summer. She participated in the Math Essentials program to solidify her foundation in mathematical concepts. Within just four weeks of attending Sylvan, Kevin, Courtney's step-dad, noticed a change in his daughter.
